Motorola Moto M smartphone was launched in November 2016. The phone comes with a 5.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels at a PPI of 401 pixels per inch.

The Motorola Moto M is powered by 2.2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P15 processor and it comes with 3GB of RAM. The phone packs 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Motorola Moto M packs a 16-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

The Motorola Moto M runs Android 6.0.1 and is powered by a 3050mAh non removable battery. It measures 151.35 x 75.35 x 7.85 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 163.00 grams.

The Motorola Moto M is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, USB OTG, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.

Lenovo has launched the Moto M smartphone in two variants in the Indian market. The base variant, which has 32GB internal storage and 3GB of RAM, is priced at Rs. 15,999, while the model with 64GB built-in storage and 4GB RAM costs Rs. 17,999.

Both the Moto M variants will be available exclusively via Flipkart and will go on sale at 11:59pm on December 14. Lenovo is offering Rs. 1,000 discount on Citibank and Rs. 2,000 off on exchange of an old smartphone. Additionally, the company is providing a Rs. 1,000 discount on the Moto Pulse 2 headphones to Moto M buyers.
 
The Dual-SIM (Nano-SIM), Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow-powered Moto M - the first Motorola smartphone with an all-metal body - has a 5.5-inch IPS display with 2.5D curved glass and full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) resolution. The new Moto packs the 2.2GHz quad-core MediaTek Helio P15 processor under the hood. For storage expansion, Moto M users can slip microSD cards of up to 128GB capacity in the secondary SIM card slot.

On the imaging front, Moto M has a 16-megapixel rear camera with Phase-Detection Autofocus (PDAF), and an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies. The Moto M connectivity suite includes Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, 4G VoLTE (with support for Indian LTE bands), USB Type-C (USB 3.1), NFC, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Moto M’s battery is rated at 3050mAh and supports fast-charging; the smartphone measures 151.35x75.35x7.85mm and weighs 163 grams. Other key features of the new Moto M smartphone are fingerprint sensor and Dolby Atmos support.
