The Microsoft Surface Book is another Windows 10 Microsoft products unveiled at the recent Microsoft event, it is the first laptop made by Microsoft.        Microsoft Surface Book is a convertible laptop with thin and slim body with its thickness starting at about 13 mm and weight put at around 1.6 kg, its chassis is made of premium aluminium with silver finish. It possesses a 13.5-inch PixelSense display with an amazing resolution of 3000 x 2000 pixels and a pixel density of approximately 267 ppi.

       It comes with a detachable design common to Surface devices which allow you to use it as a laptop or as a tablet. It is equipped with a backlit keyboard and a glass-covered trackpad; the keyboard can be flipped or detached depending on your taste.

Microsoft Surface Book comes with latest sixth-generation Intel Core i5 or i7 processor. It is equipped with up to 16 GB of RAM and an optional discrete NVIDIA graphics card with GDDR5 video memory. It runs on the new Windows 10 Pro operating system. Microsoft says the Surface Book is built to handle whatever 'creative tasks' you throw at it and it is the fastest ever among laptops of similar size.

It comes with a solid state drive of up to 1TB capacity for storage, boosting its responsiveness and performance. It also comes with a Surface Pen capable of different functions, including activation of Cortana. The Surface Book features two full-size USB 3.0 ports, a Mini DisplayPort and an SD card reader among its port offerings.

Offering up to 12 hours of battery runtime, Microsoft Surface Book features an 8 megapixel rear camera with autofocus and Full HD video recording capability and a 5 megapixel front-facing camera. Quality sound is provided by front-facing stereo speakers backed by Dolby audio technology.

Microsoft Surface Book 2-in-1 laptop is not yet available in Nigeria, but will go on sale in the United States starting at $1,499 from the 26th of October, 2015. When it gets to Nigeria, its price is expected to start at around N300,000, depending on your location and the configuration of the laptop.
